Department We are looking for a Security Manager to join our Loss Prevention team to help implement and maintain a proactive physical security and health and safety programme to ensure that the ATG Retail Outlets are adequately protected against physical security threats and risks related to people, premises and assets. Person Ensure that the physical security processes, procedures and systems that are in place comply with Company Policy and standards and that these are effectively utilized to mitigate security and operational risks inherent to key business activities conducted by the organization. Ensure that all incidents relating to the physical security of people, property and assets are promptly reported, recorded, escalated, investigated and resolved as dictated by corporate policy. Implement Evacuation program and emergency procedures as defined by Corporate Group Asset Protection and Group Risk Management function. Ensure follow up is carried out on all relevant Security related incidents which are escalated through the incident reporting facility Conduct regular Loss Prevention, Security and Health and Safety reviews in compliance with all relevant company policies and procedures related to Loss Prevention and submit reports detailing observations, recommendations and subsequent following up noncompliance. Facilitate approved in store training sessions for all store based employees to improve their effectiveness in reducing shrinkage. Investigate incidents identified relating to minor breaches of Policy and Procedure, certain matters identified through data mining reports and Health and Safety concerns in a timely manner, create investigation reports with findings and recommendations Supervise all third party security providers deployed across stores and liaise with Group Asset Protection in case of recommendations for improvement or non-compliance with contractual terms & conditions and Service Level Agreements. Conduct periodic meetings with Mall Security management and security providers to gather information and trends of security threats and incidences and provide the report to the Loss Prevention Manager for proactive action. Support Loss Prevention Managers in completion of annual surveys for all stores using the Corporate Risk Assessment and GAP analysis framework. Support the operations team in any incidences that mitigate risks to security, health, safety or asset protection (including staff). Experience 4 to 5 years work experience in a large/ diverse retail establishment with latter 2 -3 years in a responsible Loss Prevention/ Asset Protection/ Security management position Qualifications Preferably graduate in any discipline. Certification in loss prevention , security management and Health and Safety.
