This sales individual will report to the Director of Sales and will be responsible to sell Le Meridien Dubai Hotel & Conference Centre (www.lemeridien-dubai.com) and Le Meridien Fairway (www.lemeridien.com/fairway). He/She will be committed and responsible in making the set number of sales calls, achieving set targets, grow in contracted accounts, and guest/associate satisfaction. Delivers commitment, strongly build loyal guests and drives for business results. Self-motivated with a positive attitude, has the ability to think out of the box, possess good communication skills, fluent in English and French and passionate about the role. Requirements Solicit new and existing accounts to meet/exceed revenue goals through telephone solicitation, active sales calls, site inspections and written communication. Prepare correspondence to customers, internal booking reports and file maintenance. Participate in business review meeting, trainings and other sales-related meetings as required Develop/maintain knowledge of market trends, competition and customers. Work closely with the HOD's in order to find ways of ensuring positive customer experience. Manage and deliver multiple business opportunities with an emphasis on follow up's negotiations, market intelligence and deal closure. Maximize on networking opportunities within and outside the hotel with an aim of self development and maintaining a favorable client network. Regular attendance in line with the standards, which may be established from time to time, is essential to the successful performance of this position. Due to the cyclical nature of the hospitality industry, employees may be required to work varying schedules to reflect the business needs of the hotel. In addition to performance of the essential functions, this position may be required to perform a combination of the following supportive functions, with the percentage of time performing each function to be solely determined by the DOSM based upon the particular requirements of the hotel.
