Job Description

Job Purpose

To develop the tours operations business of ATTA by making effective use of sales strategies/ tools, and act as a single point of contact between customers, staff and suppliers in order to offer high quality customer service, enhance the market share of ATTA and to achieve business goals of the company

Job Skills

1. Graduate , preferably in Commerce
2. Tertiary qualifications in Sales and Marketing would be advantageous
3. 3 to 5 years experience in service/travel industry
4. Computer Literacy
5. Excellent Communication, Presentation and Interpersonal skills
6. UAE Driving license

Key Responsibilities

1. Meet corporate and travel agents, make presentations on the various leisure/ holiday travel products & services offered by ATTA’s tours department, and influence the client into hiring the services of ATTA with the aim of developing the company’s market share and achieve its’ business goals.
2. Follow-up on the recently contacted clients, provide them with more relevant information, help them to choose a holiday package/ destination that fits their budget and time, with a view to increase the company’s business.
3. Keep in constant touch with existing clients to learn about their feedback on ATTA’s tour operations services and act as a single point of contact between the clients, Tour Consultants and the suppliers in order to iron out any difficulties in the day-to-day operations of the travel/tour business or handle customer complaints, if any.
4. Follow-up with regular customers on over-due payments to ensure debt collection.
5. Maintain continuous business relationship with service providers such as airlines, overseas tour operators, hotels, land transport companies, etc, to ensure smooth execution of holiday programs and to offer efficient customer service.
6. Gather market intelligence on a regular basis, analyze sales performance data, and prepare relevant reports from time to time; Attend department meetings in order to discuss sales performance, customer feedback, scope/ suggestions for improvement and other relevant details.
7. Promote the wholesale products to the travel trade to ensure maximum business and revenue
