Qualifications Job Summary Maintain highest level of sanitation throughout the kitchen and stewarding areas (storeroom, etc.) keep china, glass and silver in perfect condition. Support the Executive Steward and Chief Steward in the operation. Support in the administrational work of the department Scheduling his associates trainings and on the Job practice. Maintaining glass, silver and china storerooms tidiness and cleanliness. Responsible for quarterly inventory in conjunction with the chief steward Delivering of all needed equipment to the respective area Maintaining a purchase log for controllable Storing, purchasing and issuing of controllable in conjunction with the chief steward. Cleanliness of the kitchen, by using the Cleaning Schedule and Monitoring schedule and take immediate action Apply with the personal and grooming standards of the hotel Cleaning and Sanitation of the kitchen If repairs need to be done, to be followed up with Engineering and inform the Chief Steward or Executive Steward Train and equip the Supervisors with required skills Daily follow-up with cleaning schedules. Maintaining cleanliness in the kitchen areas throughout the entire operation. Communicate with respective outlet manager about needed equipment and responsible for organizing it. When you are sick, please report to your chief steward or chef immediately and collect your sick note before attending the hotel clinic. Handles china, glass and silverware with extra care Carelessness will cause disciplinary action and might be financial deduction. Notify supervisor of any problems or complaints as and when they arise. Be available to come to any and all kitchen meetings whilst on duty or otherwise (off duty will be paid) Complete proper cleaning charts on a daily basis. Allocation of associates, banquets equipment and B.R.O No employee to be on the property after working hours without authorization of manager except for meals in the staff cafeteria. Follow all kitchen regulations as outlined and directed. Follow all company and safety and security policies and procedures; report maintenance needs, accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to manager; complete safety training and certifications. Ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional; maintain confidentiality of proprietary information; protect company assets. Speak with others using clear and professional language. Develop and maintain positive working relationships with others; support team to reach common goals. Ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards. Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 25 pounds without assistance. Stand, sit, or walk for an extended period of time. Reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping.
