CAE Middle East is focused on serving all Defense Forces and Governmental customers within the region. Leveraging the full breadth of CAE’s global capabilities and leading-edge simulation technologies, CAE Middle East brings proven solutions and expert knowledge to the Middle East market and surrounding regions. CAE is in charge of providing “Remotely Piloted Aircraft”-Training for the RQ-1E Predator. The program includes RQ-1E Predator Qualification Training, Pilot-, Sensor Operator- & Initial Aircrew Fundamentals Course, RQ-1E Predator Combat Course & Instructor Pilot/Instructor Sensor Upgrade Course. To strengthen our Instructor-team for the RPA Training Program, located in Abu Dhabi (Middle East), we are looking for RQ-1E PREDATOR CHIEF PILOT INSTRUCTOR AND SITE MANAGER M/F Tasks: Acting under the authority of the Program Manager, the Chief Pilot/Site Manager is responsible for supporting CAE MME RQ-1 Contractor Aircrew Training and Courseware Development (CAT/CWD) efforts. The Site Manager supervises live flight/simulator/classroom instructors and other additional staff to ensure contract compliance. Manages the site operations and all personnel assigned to maintain simulator or instruct aircrews. Teaches students in classroom and devices in accordance with syllabus of instruction. Acts as principal liaison between the assigned government SMEs and the CAE MME Program Manager. Acts as the Site Contract diplomat, liaison and SME Point of contact for the UAE customer. Ensures contract compliance for all site operations and maintains good working relationships with all customers. Ensures on time submittal of monthly device utilization reports and all other reports as required. Responsible for planning conferences with UAE customers. Ensures Fiscal Year student throughput or contracted simulator/academic training. Manages the execution of yearly, monthly, and weekly training schedules. Instructs students in the classroom and devices when required. Provides oversight of training programs for all personnel and is responsible for providing adequate resources. Performs evaluations of instructor personnel in classroom and devices, if required. Manages the site quality assurance program to ensure ISO compliance. Responsible for monthly submittals of status reports to meet CDRL requirements. Attends necessary weekly, monthly, and quarterly meetings as required or directed by the Program Manager. Performs other duties as assigned Profile: Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution of higher learning. Site Managers will meet the same qualifications required by the instructor job description Strong communication and interpersonal skills are required Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Project, and Word Must be able to effectively deliver oral presentations to management and customers Must be able to work independently and direct subordinates. Must have the ability to read, analyze, and interpret the most complex word and technical documents/diagrams. Will be required to respond effectively to sensitive inquiries and complaints. Must be able to generate effective oral and written presentations and proposals on complex subjects.
