As Executive Vice President of Engineering, you will be the strategic leader behind the development of Dark Matter’s products, working with internal development teams, third parties and our product managers to bring game-changing products to market. About the Job You will be responsible for creating the technical vision, technology roadmap and plans for implementation of new technical advancements, projects or product lines. You will build and lead the engineering team, mentoring engineering leads to deliver high quality, secure products and leading technical solutions. All the time ensuring that your Engineering team is comprised of world class resources capable of giving significant competitive advantage over our competitors. You will oversee the transition from product strategy to implementation: from roadmap to product build and release. About you The ideal candidate will be a thought leader with a deep understanding of what it required to build great products and a personal willingness to roll up their sleeves and pitch in with the engineering team. You will combine excellent business acumen and technical skills, and have a deep grasp of building competitive advantage through collaboration, teamwork and customer obsession. You will require excellent planning and organizational skills, interpersonal communication and collaborative skills and must be a critical thinker with superior initiative, problem-solving and analytical skills. Adept at multi-tasking you must have the ability to manage multiple projects under deadline to meet corporate objectives. You will have the opportunity to work in an environment that prizes innovation and is looking to disrupt the existing ecosystem wherever possible. Essential requirements: 15 years of experience in engineering/software engineering 10+ years of experience in leading diverse engineering teams Experience in overseeing the development of multiple products that should include large-scale, enterprise-grade Cyber Security products in mobile, cloud, and web A solid track record of delivering world class products Experience with Agile development methodology A motivating executive capable of instilling excitement and inspiring others Ability to set clear and deliverable goals. Assuming you come this far, we will then wheel out the big guns and you will have a final round of interviews with the Executive team before we make a decision.
