Accounts Assistant – Finance (Dubai) Job purpose Reporting to Accounts Team Manager Review and reconciliations of bank accounts Responsible for dispatch of client invoices for Dubai office Jointly responsible for AP Vendor reconciliation project Monthly reconciliation of suspense accounts Process payments for movements across bank accounts internally Maintain sound working relationships with internal and external clients and with finance team colleagues Key responsibilities Downloading bank account statements Bank account reconciliations (daily and weekly) and dealing with reconciling items Sorting of client invoices on a daily basis for Dubai office Dispatching invoices to clients Maintaining invoice dispatch log Scanning and filing of client invoices on a daily basis Preparing a monthly reconciliation of suspense accounts Processing payments to assist with movements of funds internally between different bank accounts Dealing with discrepancies and queries, and liaising with employees to resolve Monitoring and ordering of stationary supplies for the floor Archiving of all finance files and liaising with the file storage company for file retrievals Support team members during team holiday Candidate profile The ideal candidate will have: Experience within a legal, partnership or professional services environment A minimum of 2 years accounts assistant experience Strong communication skills – verbal and written Strong reconciliation abilities Strong numeracy skills and a strong level of accuracy and attention to detail Strong time management and organisational skills Good computer skills and experience using 3E or similar practice management systems The ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines The ability to problem solve, analyse situations and identify key issues Good interpersonal skills and be a team player Clyde & Co Overview A pragmatic and dynamic international law firm with a focus on core sectors of infrastructure, insurance, international trade, natural resources and transportation.
