We are seeking candidates for a Big 4 client in Dubai for a Manager, Internal Audit & Risk (FSI). This role would involve working within the Internal Audit, Risk & Compliance Services team. It is an exciting prospect, requiring enthusiasm, ability and a dedication to provide internal audit and other advisory services. The role will be required to deliver exceptional quality sought by a range of FSI clients. Typical Experience/Qualifications: · Must be a Chartered Accountant / Certified Internal Auditor / ACCA/Bachelors Degree in Accounting and Finance with relevant Accounting and Finance competencies. · Prior experience 5 to 6 in Big 4 will be preferred. Excellent communication and people managing skills are pre-requisites. Managerial experience will be an added advantage. · Need to demonstrate specialization in select solutions such as enterprise risk management, compliance, corporate governance. · FSI experience required. Position Description: · Responsible for managing a sizeable portfolio of FSI clients, and the operational aspects of engagement management such as engagement finances, resource management, and elements of risk management. · Use your experience of the marketplace and client needs to develop identifiable products and solutions developing delivery strategies to drive incremental revenues from these new areas · Manage, coach and act as a mentor for more junior staff, playing a key role in the development of the team. They will build strong relationships with on-shore colleagues and clients, identifying areas where the organisation can improve quality of, and increase the scope of work. · Maintain and develop broad cross functional networks in order to articulate in detail to clients all service offerings of your own function and the wider firm. · Assist directors and associate directors in development of new business opportunities and other practice management initiatives. · Ensure the quality of deliverables is in line with the client expectations and develop sales skills through participation in appropriate training courses to identify potential opportunities while executing the engagement. · Demonstrate ability to effectively communicate technical issues to clients whether internal or external. · Ensure you are up to date with risk management processes. Should participate in risk management training and active discussion on risk issues with appropriate colleagues. · Manage pool of Associate Consultants, Consultants and Seniors to execute engagement on timely basis. Act as a role model demonstrating professionalism and compliance with firm values and best practices · Prepare budget for engagement/project and monitor performance against budget. Ensure that over-runs are identified and recovered where possible. · Actively manage client accounts. Update your account plan for the clients/targets you are responsible for on a monthly basis.
