Looking for a smart Research Executive with over 3 years of experience in managing clients and with good analytical skills. First preference would be to UAE based candidates. The position will be responsible for managing and developing a portfolio of clients, and the team that service these clients, to ensure long term and sustained revenue growth within GfK Middle East & Africa. Client Relationship Manage the day to day relationship with key contact (Maintain and grow a network of contacts at the client site) Maintain and develop smooth relationships with the Clients and manage proactively and sensitively these relationships Work positively towards developing a trusting business relationship Express outward confidence in the relationship with clients which will help in facilitating problem solution and issues to be overcome in a confident manner Understand what the client’s overall goals and objectives are, and the role that different departments and individuals are playing in achieving these Manage the practical/on the ground management of the delivery of the contracted service with respect to quality and speed Conduct account planning in support with line manager Responsible for identifying revenue opportunities and contributing to overall revenue target Implementing client best practice and ways of working Account Handling Where appropriate have some management responsibility for account administration, coordinating upwards to Line Manager Be aware of contractual obligations and detail and manage any potential conflicts Proactively manage the communication pathway to senior support ensuring that they are kept up to date with client issues and developments Work with senior support to develop and execute account plans (e.g. additional analyses) Analysis & Insight Demonstrating insight to clients Taking briefs from clients, and manage the production of proposals in response to brief Deliver presentations with recommendations that actively seek to meet the objectives of the client’s brief Involving senior support where appropriate in presentations/ projects Be able to advise on the relevance of specialist services from GfK Marketing Sciences Liaise with GfK Consumer Choices team (as appropriate) in order to deliver insightful work Requirements Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience in Customised Research in a Global company. Should demonstrate reliability in meeting client expectations, credibly building relationships, taking responsibility for own workload and providing support to line manager and wider product team. Be friendly, independent with developing skills in influencing others There will be a requirement to sell-in Branded Solutions to clients Being flexible, tactful and sensitive to others, and display good social and communication skills.
