Location: Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates Objective: We are looking for an experienced Business Development Manager to screen, oversee, and lead potential business deals by defining and analyzing local and regional market strategies. He will be responsible for ensuring the efficiency of business operations as well as setting strategic goals for the future. The right candidate will be a competent leader able to provide guidance that enhances performance in a manner which incorporates the company’s vision and culture and work hard to ensure the profitability of our company’s activities to drive sustainable development and long-term success. Tasks: Develop negotiating strategies and positions by studying integration of new venture with company strategies and operations; examining risks and potentials; estimating business partners' needs and goals. Design and implement business plans and strategies to promote the attainment of company business objectives and strengthen the presence of company principals and market share. Closes new business deals by coordinating requirements; developing and negotiating contracts; integrating contract requirements with business operations. Organize and coordinate operations in ways that ensure maximum productivity. Perform research, compile market data and networking in support of business lead prospecting efforts. Supervise the work of employees and provide feedback and counsel to improve efficiency and effectiveness. Maintain exceptional and constructive relationships with partners/vendors/suppliers. Assess, monitor, and measure business growth level within the company and allocate necessary corrective actions for performance against objectives. Requirements: 10-15 years experience in similar activities and culture related to oil/gas operation and hydro-carbon industries with five years proven record as BDM / Sales Manager. Excellent organizational and leadership skills. Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities. Thorough understanding of diverse business processes and strategy development for engineering products supplies and technical services. Excellent knowledge of MS Office, databases and information systems. Good understanding of research methods and data analysis techniques. Bachelor Degree in engineering disciplines preferably Electrical / Instrumentations from recognized university. Skills and Competencies : Practical and logical knowledge of oilfield products and services and project tender process. Commercial Acumen and Advanced Negotiation skills. Ability to build relationships, both quickly & long term. Ability to demonstrate the drive to achieve.
