: Manager of Insurance Management will be responsible to provide both strategic and day to day leadership for the 3 verticals under the department i.e. Contracting & Pricing, Payer Management and Regulatory Management to design, develop, contract, maintain and enhance relationships with healthcare providers, payers and healthcare regulators in the UAE. To act as a focal point for information and knowledge of latest healthcare sector developments and trends, mainly knowledge about healthcare insurance Payers and Regulators new protocols or billing updates. Overseeing & managing the daily operations of the Insurance Management department. Reviewing, negotiating & finalizing with payers to obtain most favorable Tariff/Prices, Network Access, Volume Discounts and Special deals or offers on behalf of our clients. Assist the reconciliation unit with the reconciliation process for the clients. Ensure the best utilization of previous and existing relationship with payers in attracting new business opportunities for the client through active communications with decision making personnel. Building and enhancing strong business relationships with Payers, TPA’s, Regulators and Healthcare Providers. Developing, monitoring, and assessing business metrics in order to refine processes and improve efficiencies. Ensuring organizational effectiveness by providing leadership for the organization’s revenue cycle functions. Strategic oversight of recruitment for the Insurance department. Work with other department leaders to define, prioritize, and develop projects and programs. Candidate Requirements: Professional Qualifications: Bachelors of Medicine Degree preferred and/or Additional degree in Health Care Management preferred. Any additional professional certifications in line with the role will be an added advantage. Technical Knowledge & Experience: 5-8 years ’of work experience in the UAE, out of which 3 years in a senior level role is a must in health insurance contracting and pricing. Experience in dealing and negotiating on behalf of a hospital, large health plan, and/or multi-state providers. Knowledge of medical terminology, CPT, HCPCS, ICD-9/10, CDM and contract management. Medical Coding certifications are an added advantage. In-depth knowledge of health insurance and its best practices.
